Free Radicals Actually Burn Holes In Muscle

Free Radicals Actually Burn Holes In Muscle

Have you ever seen a construction worker wearing goggles and using a circular saw to cut a piece of wood? As the saw makes its hissing sound and cuts through the wood you may recall that wood chips fly everywhere. Well, think of Free Radicals as corrosive specs, like the wood chips, that blow out everywhere, landing on muscle tissue. When you burn lactic acid, Free Radicals (waste byproducts) are produced in mass quantities and when they land on tissue they cause swelling. If left untreated they will ultimately punch a hole in the membrane of the cell.

When a bodybuilder/athlete wakes up sore the day after a brutal session of giant sets with squats, leg presses and lunges and can’t walk – well, it’s because Free Radicals haven’t been eradicated from the surface of trained muscles and have been left to devastate the surrounding area. These “specs” (Free Radicals) ultimately punch holes in the surface of muscle tissue, the contents of the damaged cells then spill out onto adjacent tissue resulting is additional damage to neighboring cells compounding the problem. This damage is much different from microscopic tearing of fibers.

So, yes! Free Radicals are nasty and, if a strategy isn’t implemented for their post workout eradication, the result is huge steps backwards even after all that intense training. How important are results?

AntioxCene® was created for one purpose. That purpose is to completly purge muscle tissue of Free Radicals and serve as step #3 of the MyoTrend™ recovery puzzle. Nothing compares to AntioxCene®.
